Who invented 24 hour day? [ 8th of April 2007 ]
24 hour days just don't seem to be enough, so I've emptied my whole calender in May from
other work just to be able to finish some of my own projects (a new website here and other thingies).

Best pixels '05 exhibit is over [ 7th of April 2006 ]
Photographic exhibition Best pixels '05 at the Orivesi city library has ended. Our warm-hearted
thanks to all those who wrote us feedback and entered the competition for two photographs.
The exceptionally warm and individual tone in your comments suprised us and we would have wanted
to donate each of you a "Mafioso" of your own. We received 223 feedback forms, and we read every
single one of them. The youngest participant was 4 years old and the oldest was 90 years of age,
so it's safe to say that the exhibit reached a wide spread of people. The
contest winners are:

My photographic exhibition Best pixels '05 at the local Orivesi city
library has found it's way to the local newspaper called Oriveden Sanomat. See below for the article

First real photographic exhibition [ 2nd of March 2006 ]
My first real live photo exhibition, called Best pixels '05, has started.
It's on display at the Orivesi city library from 27th of February to 31st of March. The exhibition consists
of 22 individual photographs and one 10 photograph serie. The individual photos are in 75x50cm and 50x34cm sizes,
and these primed photos are for sale after the exhibition. Two of these big primed photographs will be donated
among those who have filled out a feedback form at the exhibition. Some of the photos are also for sale in smaller
sizes at a local direct sales shop called "Applebranch".
New year, new plans [ 30th of January 2006 ]
Time sure flies fast, it's already 2006. A lot of new things to come and plans to fulfil.
I'm probably going to re-think this whole website and its contents along with some other new things,
but it probably won't happen anytime soon. I'll post more info when the time comes, stay tuned!

Song of the week! [ 15th of December 2005 ]
'Residue of Desire' was chosen as the song of the week at
Mikseri.net.
The statics tell that it has received hundreds of downloads each day because of this.
'Project Focus' proceeds [ 29th of November 2005 ]
A massive digitalization of mini-DV tapes has finally been done. Around 7½ hours of material shot for
'Project Focus'
has been transformed into unpacked AVI files. 95.2 gigabyte worth of material is now
waiting for further selection and editing. More footage might be shot during next summer. New photos
from the project will be added sometime soon!

Easier music downloads [ 23rd of August 2005 ]
This is something many of you've been asking and waiting for, and for way too long (sorry for that).
I've finally made my music available for easier and more reliable downloading. The old
iuma.com
site where I've hosted my music for years hasn't been working well for ages. So here are
the new alternatives for downloading my music:

Music on a commercial CD [ 7th of August 2005 ]
To my suprise, I was chosen to be on the upcoming commercial CD release:
Assembly - Box of Musix.
My song "World War II memoirs theme (Asm'02 mix)" was chosen to be on the CD. I heard that actually
another song of mine was also going to be included on the CD, but had to be cut off due to lack of space.
WW2 memoirs theme's Assembly'02 mix is a shortened version of the music I made for my Wild Demo -video
for Assembly'2001 event. You can find more information on the song e.g. at the
discography.
